Kemajuan teknologi yang begitu pesat membuat hidup kita lebih mudah dan sederhana. Hal ini membuat Timbangan Digital banyak dipakai di laboratorium dan tempat-tempat lain di mana bahkan partikel yang paling kecil dapat diukur. Akurasi tidak saja terbatas pada penimbangan yang kecil, Timbangan Digital juga lebih akurat untuk menunjukkan berat keseluruhan.
MENGURANGI “HUMAN ERROR”

Timbangan Digital juga dapat mengurangi tingkat kesalahan manusia pada saat membaca ukuran berat. Sementara timbangan analog menggunakan garis-garis untuk menandai kenaikan berat, Timbangan Digital selalu menampilkan digit. Oleh karena itu jika Anda membaca sesuatu yang beratnya 5  1/3  pon dan garis-garis pada timbangan analog hanya mencatat dalam 1/4, jadi kemungkinan besar apa yang Anda baca di timbangan analog tidak 100% akurat.
Tentu saja, seberapa mudah Timbangan Digital untuk dibaca akan tergantung pada ukuran layar LED, lampu pada layar dan besarnya angka pada layar LED tersebut. Namun, model-model baru dari Timbangan Digital memiliki layar yang cukup besar dan pencahayaan yang baik sehingga untuk membaca ukuran berat tidak menjadi masalah.
MUDAH DALAM PENDISTRIBUSIAN INFORMASI

Timbangan Digital juga memiliki manfaat yang mampu mendistribusikan informasi untuk beberapa orang sekaligus  di lokasi yang berbeda, lebih cepat dari timbangan analog.
